Collection: U-Shaped Office Desks

A U-shaped desk puts work surface on three sides of you: the desk in front, a credenza behind, and a bridge joining the two. It suits an executive or manager who wants working surface behind them and a clear desk in front for meeting people.

Measure the room first

Our U-shaped desks are 71" to 72" wide, but overall depth varies: from 96" on the Santa Monica rectangular U to 114" on the Bellagio. Desks are 30" to 42" deep, credenzas 24", and the bridge sets the gap you sit in between them, so check the full depth against the room before choosing a style.

Rectangular, bow front or bullet

A rectangular desk front is the most compact. A bow front curves the front edge out toward visitors, to 42" deep, which gives more room between you and a guest; the Santa Monica bow front desks and the Bellagio in its bow shaped style use it. The Santa Monica bullet desk curves the inside of the work surface instead, toward the person sitting at it.

Storage and modesty panels

The Carmel U comes with locking pedestals: box, box, file on the desk and file, file on the credenza. The Bellagio includes full box, box, file and file, file pedestals, and the Santa Monica rectangular U has two box and file pedestals. On the front, the Santa Monica bullet and bow front desks are available with a white glass modesty panel; the rest have modesty panels in the desk's own finish.

U-shaped desks with a hutch

A hutch adds enclosed storage above the credenza without taking more floor space. The Santa Monica bow front U-shaped executive desk is available with the hutch included, or with a laminate modesty panel and the hutch sold separately. Hutch sizes and door styles are in our office hutches.

Santa Monica U-shaped desks come in grey, espresso, blanc de gris, miele or noce, Bellagio in grey or walnut, and Carmel in espresso or mahogany. If a U will not fit, compare our L-shaped office desks, or send us the room dimensions and we will lay it out.
