Collection: Office Storage Cabinets & Furniture

Office storage works best planned as a run rather than bought one piece at a time. Most of what is here is built to line up with something else: cabinets and lateral files share a footprint, hutches sit on credenzas, and the Bellagio, Carmel and Santa Monica pieces come in the same finishes as their desks.

Office storage cabinets

Our two-door storage cabinets are roughly 34" wide, 22" deep and 29" high, the same footprint as a two-drawer lateral file, so cabinets and files can stand side by side or butt against the end of a desk as one continuous surface. The Bellagio and Carmel cabinets lock. Santa Monica cabinets come with laminate or white glass doors, the glass on soft-close hinges, and are sold without a top so you can finish them with a matching laminate or white glass top.

The two-door cabinets are desk height, not full height. For taller storage, use a bookcase or add a hutch above a credenza.

Wider units

The Santa Monica double units run 68" to 72" wide, in door, lateral file and combination versions, several with glass tops included. Along a wall they read as one piece of furniture rather than a row of cabinets.

Lateral files and pedestals

For paper, a two-drawer lateral file locks and files side to side across a wide drawer. A mobile pedestal rolls under a desk, and the Santa Monica version has a cushion top so it doubles as a seat. Sizes and lock details are in our office filing cabinets.

Bookcases and hutches

Open shelving comes in 48" and 69" to 71" heights. The 69" bookcases hold five shelves in a footprint 33 1/2" wide and 11 1/4" deep. Where floor space is the constraint, a hutch adds enclosed storage above a desk or credenza instead. See office bookcases and office hutches.

Credenzas

A credenza puts drawers, doors or lateral files behind the desk, at or just under desk height, in widths up to 96". Compare configurations in our office credenzas.

Finishes follow the range: Bellagio in grey or walnut, Carmel in mahogany or espresso, Santa Monica in grey, espresso, blanc de gris, miele or noce.
