Collection: Standing & Sit-Stand Desks

A sit-stand desk lets one person change position through the day without changing desks. What separates one standing desk from another is what you are buying, how far it travels and how much it lifts.

Base only, single desk or L-shaped

The Ventura electric adjustable height desk comes as a base only, to fit under a top you already have, or with a 24" deep top 48", 60" or 72" wide. The Santa Monica Avalon base takes 24" or 30" deep tops from 48" to 66" wide. For a full executive setup, the Santa Monica executive height adjustable desk is an L-shaped standing desk with a 36" x 72" desk and a 24" x 48" return, 72" wide and 84" deep overall.

Height range and programmable positions

The Ventura and Avalon bases rise to about 47" plus the thickness of the top, and both run on dual motors. The executive L-shaped desk travels from 24.8" to 50.2". All of them have a digital display with four programmable positions, so the desk returns to your saved sitting and standing heights at the press of a button.

Lifting capacity and safety

The executive L-shaped desks are rated to lift 330 lb and have an anti-collision feature that stops the desk when it meets an obstruction. Lifting capacity has to cover the top, monitors and everything else on the desk, so check it against what you plan to load.

Executive standing desks

The Santa Monica executive height adjustable desk comes in three versions that differ by base color and modesty panel style, one on a black base and two on white. All three come in grey, espresso, blanc de gris, miele and noce, the same finishes as the rest of the Santa Monica range, so a standing desk can match the credenzas and storage around it.

Seating for a standing desk

At standing height, a drafting stool gives you a perch between sitting and standing; see office stools. For the sitting position, compare our ergonomic office chairs.
