Collection: Office Guest Chairs

Guest chairs get sat in for five minutes at a time by people who did not choose them, which makes durability and cleaning matter more than adjustability. None of these have controls to explain.

Base type decides where it works

Four-leg chairs are the most stable and most stack, which suits training rooms and any space that gets cleared and reset. Sled base chairs glide over carpet instead of digging in, so they move without being lifted and do not chew up a carpet tile in front of a desk. Castered guest chairs suit rooms where people move between tables during a session.

Upholstery

Mesh backs breathe and hide marks. Bonded leather matches an executive desk chair and reads more formal across a private office. Vinyl wipes clean, which is why it is standard in clinical waiting rooms.

For medical and dental reception, antimicrobial vinyl seating is built with the back and seat separated so a cloth reaches every surface, and is rated to higher weight capacities than a standard guest chair.

Matching the desk chair

Several ranges here include a guest chair built on the same frame and upholstery as their executive chair, so a private office can be furnished as a set rather than assembled from separate lines. If that matters, check the product page for the matching executive model.

Weight ratings

Most guest chairs here are rated to 250 or 275 lb. Bariatric models go to 500 lb on a wider frame. If the chair is for a waiting room serving the public, specify at least one higher-rated chair.
